The Advantages of Wicker Furniture Both Inside and Outside a Home
Posted by: admin In: Bargain Beauties
Wicker furniture at some point successfully crossed over at some point from airy outdoor items to gorgeous indoor ones. As a child I remember the wicker ensemble my aunt and uncle housed on an enclosed wrap around porch. It had decorative cushions and seemed a bit extravagant, as they were somewhat exposed to the natural elements. Those chairs were stylish, functional, yet had a bit of a feel of being out of sorts. They lived in a place that was in between.
Of course prior to that I was familiar with wicker rocking chairs that were sat right out in direct sunlight, and dainty tables set out alongside loungers in the garden. But, it was not till I had my first flat, and a roommate that wicker crossed into my inner dwelling. Low and behold it was not in a small dose either. The roomie, Lori had a complete matching bedroom set, including wicker stand alone mirror, wicker dressing table, wicker end tables, and wicker headboard.
Since, I have enjoyed placing wicker items in and about a home, and can see how versatile it can be first hand. Mostly, I admire it because it can transcend so much, and remains inexpensive. Now that is beautiful.
